You have some great models Hans! I also like the Mansell F1. It's the very rare early version with the low air intakes too.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I owned several of those in the mid 80s. Sold the last one around 1988 for $1100 or so - some very serious money for a 1/43 back then!
I came across these large 1:8 scale models on Ebay and thought some might be interested since it's big scale (Hans?). See Ebay item 120361736459. (no affiliation with seller). Nothing mentioned about who makes these but pretty rare I guess. A bit too expensive for me though. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Probably Amalgam, Sport-europe or Pauls modelart. Thanks for the tip, but they are to big, to new and to expensive for me.
its a pauls modelart limited to 50 pieces i saw it to on ebay. look what i got my hands on yesterday and factory build what makes it hard and rare to find specialy for that price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=280304529319 lucky me, greetings from Norway, Alex Ps: Hans did you got an agreement on the mythos?

I have seen that first car in real life at a concours. I think its the Pebble Beach best original . By the way, Patrick says he's bringing all the regular large scale Minidelta models to Retro, along with a "new" Lancia/Ferrari D50 in 1/6th scale. I want to go to Retro next year. It sounds like the best historical car art/book/model show on earth if money is no object(i.e. only high end quality products and car displays)!!
This is not the regular BBR 456. It was a give-away at the presentation of the 456GT in Brussels in 1992. If you look closely you can see it has vacuform windows, and no photoetching... edition of 500 I enclosed 2 pics, first is the presentationmodel, second is the regular BBR sold in the idea-series I will be receiving something really special next week!!!!! Back in 1987, I discovered Cavallino magazine. In nr. 40 was an article about 1:14 scalemodels by Brianza, HE14 and a very rare 1:14 250 GT Lusso by ADB. The best available at the time... and wayyyyyy above my budget! The Lusso was made in a series of 10 and sold out before finished, original price was $4000,-. Now, a "few" years later, I have gathered several of the cars I adored back then. Never saw a Lusso other than the picture in the Cavallino. AND NOW I HAVE ONE! Thanks to an english first owner, who is selling his collection of 9000 handbuilt Ferrari's. Its rough and would benefit from a restoration, but I am keeping it original, just the way it is! Fully detailed engine, leather interior, and very nice Borrani's! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
wow Hans, she looks gorgeous! I love the color. Looks very distinguished on the sexy body of the Lusso. I think you're right in keeping her original. A Lusso can show her age, no problem.
