Funny thing about Kankkunen, at the time he drove for lancia, and after cinching the title he was ofered a ferrari of his choice, any ferrari, he decided to get a f512m instead of the f40, because he thought it would be much more practical....of course later on, he deeply regreted it when he saw how much value teh f40 had gained!!

maybe the Pavarotti F40 was a single seater... :D

(In my opinion he never even sat on it)

maybe because Mr. Kankkunnen (called KKK by his supporters) discovered that the F40 hadn't KKK turbochargers... ;)

    ciao

    Hahaha, probably! :D

Talking about famous owners, wasn't Gianni Agnelli's F40 the only one in the world with some sort of robotized clutch? I remember reading somewhere that they did it for him because he had a leg issue...

His Testarossa Spyder had a Valeo automated clutch presumably similar to the one offered on the Mondial T, so it would make sense that his F40 would have had a similar setup?

What's the source of your information?

The Car Collection of WRC Legend Juha Kankkunen | Street Racing Lifestyle

Apparently, he still has his F40, his 288 GTO, and a number of other Ferraris besides.
