Made it out to the track this past sunday with the 458. Here are a few vids:

Fastest lap: Unfortunately from the vibration, the camera was pointing too low, so it looks like I'm driving on the sun [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twtXq_6zHfg[/ame]

Very nice, love driving Chuckwalla. What video/data package are you using? Awesome to see all of the data in real time along with track-position.

It was a Star Car Sports day. That is the in-house track day run by Chuckwalla. Those are great because they are usually not crowded (about 15 cars total this sunday). They usually run 2 groups, open-passing and point-by passing. It's really relaxed and lots of track time.
I use the Aim SmartyCam HD and Aim SoloDL. It's really simple to setup, the SoloDL plugs into the OBD II port and gets all of the data. The soloDL is also the GPS lap timer and sends all of the data to the smarty cam, which overlays all of the data. On a side note, those track cams that Ferrari sells along with the track focused versions of their cars seem to be rebranded SmartyCams at 5 times the price. So do yourself a favor and get the camera directly from Aim.

SmartyCam: AiM SmartyCam HD Rev. 2
SoloDL: AiM Solo/SoloDL, the multifunctional GPS Lap Timers

I have sold dozens of the AiM Solo DL/SmartyCam HD Rev2.1 combinations specifically preconfigured and set up to be plug and play for the 458 and other Ferraris. Earlier cars can also accommodate this system with less information shown. It's $1778 for the components and mounts, plug and play. It's terrific, made in Italy and quite powerful for the price. It's also automated and writes the information to the 720P video automatically and in real time.
