I'm not as well traveled as many, but hope to travel more. You can use this map to color countries. Where In the World Have You Been All Your Life? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is one just for the United States. I'm lacking Hawaii and some Northwestern States. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What's the color key here? Green=most visited I'm guessing. That would make red least visited, but orange and purple? Or do I have it backwards?
65 and counting. Off to Hong Kong & China on holiday this Saturday. I still need Australia and Antarctica to complete my seven continents, and am working to do 80+ countries by the time I stop, after which I'll probably run out of places that I want to go... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pretty cool. My world tour was scattered about and I have most of the States included already. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Been to all states except Alaska. Seeing Northern Lights is on my bucket list, and Alaska would be a good place to cross that off. Have not been only a few countries, alas, no time when I was building my career, and no time now with two "children" (senior citizen MIL & dog) to look after. Have been to Japan (fascinating!), Italy (love the people & coffee), and Normandy (I have no words to describe the cemetery @ Omaha Beach). Hopefully, one day, more overseas adventures: would love to tour the great car museums of Italy, Germany & France T
Furthest north: Alaska Furthest south: South Island NZ Highest: Rockies & Swiss Alps Most remote: South Pacific Islands Worst: Philippines (on business, wouldn't choose to travel there for fun) Most exotic: Inside passage cruise Alaska Best nature: US National Parks Best man cave: Ferrari and Lamborghini hire Italy Best culture & history: Europe Most reflective: Dachau concentration camp Done relatively little in Asia (Singapore, KL), none in Africa, Middle East or South America My favourite local haunts: Barrier Reef, NSW Beaches - dozens to choose from all world class, outback-ish Lightning Ridge for opal prospecting.. yet to do Tasmania and Kimberleys. Sydney is the BEST harbour city, beaches, parks and walks and climate you will *ever* visit..
I was just in Alaska 6 weeks ago. I was there 2 weeks and never saw the Northern Lights! We were even in a perfect remote area for it. It was either too cloudy or main problem it didn't get dark until 10pm and was getting light at 3-4am. We were never up in dark unless going out of tent to pee.
Not surprised. weatherspark.com suggests that most places in the high northern latitudes of Alaska tend to be cloudy for much of the time. Seems you need to go way north like Point Barrow to greatly improve your odds of getting clear skies...T
Got it now. Should've filled it out before asking. Here's mine. Adding Africa and South America next year. Hopefully Asia and Australia in 2017. Image Unavailable, Please Login
On the website there's a "Save & Download" button on the left. And check the "Print text on image?" box beforehand as well. After that, just update to FerrariChat like any other image.
hmmm... Need to go north. Leaving FL I could hit almost all in a big sweep of states. Time to rent a Winnebago and hit the highways. Errr, on second thought maybe wait for Spring. Heading north in the Fall/Winter doesn't make a lot of sense. D Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah, today was 90 and felt like 100 this morning with the humidity. But a few days from now I'll be in sunny CT. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
I need to get to Alaska and the Badlands. Kentucky will happen on a bourbon tour at some point. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mine, think this is all of them. Some that are too small to see: Aruba, Curacao, Maldives Image Unavailable, Please Login
