    Following on from the first new car thread I thought it might be interesting to see who has owned the highest number of Italian cars. My personal tally is 20 - Fiat 126, Fiat 127 (2 off), Fiat Strada (3 off), Fiat Tipo, Fiat Barchetta, Lancia Prisma, Alfasud (2), Alfa 33 (2), Alfa 75 (3), Alfa 156, Alfa GTV, Ferrari 360, Lamborghini Gallardo.

    So who is the biggest Italian car nut then? Come on, 'fess up :D

    Personally dont like run of the mill italian cars, uncomfortable, and unreliable least thats what friends who've had them say...

    Me :D I've been so tied up with work and children recently that I haven't really had a chance to keep up with the gossip. Plus I know you change cars more regularly than I change underwear ;)

    Thats a list of cars he has owned... you'd need a team of qualified mechanics to keep that lot running simultaneously. But it is a great selection - Pantera's are great and I think the model he has on his list was regarded as the best of all (?)

    Hopefully he'll pop his head round the door and share some stories.

    Dad brought the Daytona in 1975,(when you couldn't give them away due to the oil crisis). I "inherited" it on my 30th birthday although Dad retains the title as it's kept at his house. It was originally Dino Blue metallic but was resprayed Rosso Corsa in the late 70's and again in 1985. At some point I would like to return it to Dino blue but the paintwork looks to good at the moment.

    No! :) the list is car's owned since 1975, the most he has owned at any one time is 6. (Daytona, 250 SWB, 330 GTC, 330 GTS, 365 GTC, 550)
