Hi I have a 2011 California and despite numerous attempts cannot get me iphone 4 to work correctly. It pairs fine and uploads contacts but if you try and make a call or answer a call it just Drops out ? I have been on the USA site and they seem to think there is a software update for the car. Any ideas ??? Many thanks

I would say update the software on your phone to the latest standard. As for the update for the car be aware that some of the functionalities of the "old" software on the car might get lost when the dealer updates your software
Thanks for that checked and my iphone 4 is updated to the latest software. So that really only leaves the car. Is there anyway to see on the head unit what software the unit is running at ?.or do they have to update the whole car. I was hoping there was just a disc you could load into the head unit.
In the UK it updated the whole system including Nav, Bluetooth, rear camera etc. and it could only be done by the dealer
Bit surprised it should need an update. I only purchased the car in November 2013 From a Ferrari main dealer surely they should have checked if the car needed a software update prior to me taking delivery ?. Guess I will find out on Thursday after JCT in Leeds have taken a look. The rear reversing camera and everything else has worked fine only had one issue and that was with the stop start system. So maybe I have a faulty head unit .
