We're flying to Brussels next month and driving a hire car to Kent. The Tunnel prices seemed to have doubled since we did this 3 years ago.
    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance,

Can anyone offer up any advice on the boat versus the train other than time to cross?

Cheaper - from Brussels to Kent is probably a six or seven hour journey - the boat will add an hour but give you the opportunity to spend the financial saving in the bar or having lunch - what else do you need to know ?

Personally I prefer the boat, gives time to have breakfast/lunch, stretch your legs, something to look at etc. - it only adds about 35 mins to the journey over and above the train
