There is also a dedicated Ferrari display in the Fountain Gardens at Hampton Court, apart from the Concours exhibits. Unfortunately, this event does not seem to have achieved wide publicity in the Ferrari community but it is well worth going.

You might enjoy a few pictures I took at Windsor Castle (2012) and St James's Palace (2013).

Damn! I've already booked the whole trip for the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court and this seems to be great as well...why didn't Google tell me about all this!? Next year, I guess. :)

Look forward to see you both again. You might spot me trying to win the Boodles jewellery prize for the best dressed Lady. But maybe not! [ and no this is not me ] before you ask!

I live 2 miles from Hampton Court but not heard anything about this. Its not in the Ferrari Owners Club diary of events.

That's because the FOC now are lazy and useless and have done nothing about it (unlike the other car clubs invited). Did you come to Windsor two years ago, I can't remember? Anyway, that was the same event.

Hi Jonathan, yes Windsor was a great event. I cant believe they are ignoring this one. They couldnt be bothered to organise their own concours this year.

Grant - Thanks. Sorry, I haven't checked the thread in a couple of days. Was actually at the Salon Prive today as one of our friends was showing his Mercedes 300SL. Lots of brilliant vehicles but I do think our favorite was that deep blue 250GT SWB.

John - will definitely remember to seek out the Ferraris at the Fountain Gardens.

Will be at Hampton Court probably around lunch and I'll look for you in your dress!

I found out about from the FOC and they did discounted tickets.

It was a great day with loads of lobster, free drinks inc. champagne [ as much as you like] afternoon tea/ sandwiches cakes etc all inc. in the ticket. If you booked with the FOC it also got you into the auction for free.
Sorry I did not meet you John. I did see you as you were leaving in the car !
Some amazing cars there, photo of the FOC stand before opening :-

Most excellent time today at the Concours. Didn't get there until about 1pm though but in time to join Nick and Neill from Nicholas Mee for lunch. Sorry I missed everyone else but it was fun. Though the guard did tell me that the Ferraris by the Fountain Garden wouldn't happen until tomorrow (Saturday).

That grey 250 California was my favorite today.

I didn't realise that was you with the blue Daytona.

I was parked behind the drinks canopy.

Much as I love you that is a sad and silly comment to make.

Rubbish. It is the truth as well you know and if these things are not stated, recognized and dealt with then nothing will change. Fortunately, a conversation today, at Hampton Court, gives me at least some optimism on that front.
