Are you sure your car will not be coming with the factory cover ? If it does not look on Ebay for an original or talk to morethanpolish for something else

Are you sure your car will not be coming with the factory charger ? If it does not look in the 599 section for a recommendation or talk to morethanpolish for something else

DH are great guys to deal with. Think they sell CTek chargers and covers too? I've dealt with them a couple years back and seem to remember they had stock of both....

Early cars did not come with chargers so it may not have one, check out the connection in the boot on the right hand side to make sure you get the right one, it is necessary to have a charger, Ferrari recommends that 599's be on charge at all times.
Check for stone chips as they damage easily.
Try to get a good warranty, they are very expensive to fix if necessary.
Try to get an OM cover, its a fantastic fit, I bought one from the USA which was cheaper than buying one over here inc. the shipping and import tax!!
    Great car buy the way.

Many thanks for this everyone - appreciate - not dealt with DH before so good to hear positive feedback.
Assure me ferrari tech guy is good so have to trust - warranty they offer short unfortunately - will probably have to buy a 2 year one extra with main dealer unless anyone recommends top specialist in Surrey ?

On to DH about charger and cover - once again thanks - looking forward to slightly more sedate drive than the in your face 430s I had....time to grow old gracefully....

Don't buy a charger until you have seen if it has one first, and if not what type of plug it needs. 2008 cars came with a charger and a half round plug, 2007 could have come with this or another type plug as my friends did. He has the same 2007 599 so i can ask him what he bought in the end, i know he had a job to start with, as the dealer kept saying they were going to get him one but did not and the fitment is different from a 2008 on cars.
The 599 section is very good so its worth doing a search on there.

PS you won't find it any slower than the 430 with 620 BHP on tap, I kept up with a 458 no problem earlier this year going to Silverstone!

The Ferrari tech at DH is one of the best in the UK. I'd seriously consider the trip up the M1 to get your car looked after by him.
