As far as I know I was the only FChatter there.

Did you see the one from Silverstone that I posted in the Oulton Park thread?

I've got quite a few pics, but the files are too big. I need to figure out how to make them smaller !!!!

Sorry to be thick, and I ought to know this, but what is a F48 Koenig? Was it a Ferrari recognised conversion or a sort of AMG approach?

Koenig are an independant company who hack about Ferraris (and other marques). Can be found at http://www.koenig-specials.com/

You either like the results or hate them. Personally I think they all look like arse, but the performance upgrades can be quite impressive.

They did a Testarossa 'Evolution' with a rotary dial to chose the BHP - was something like 600, 750 and 1000.

I heard a rumour that when the F40 was launched Enzo banned any dealer from selling one to Koenig on pain of losing their franchise. Any truth to that one?

    Cheers,
    TOM

This F348 has over 550 BHP - Twin Turbos. I like the styling, perferable in Red. The koenig F348 looks like the F40 in many ways. A very rare car now. I think its worth in the region of £50,000 +.

I heard he got some of the local scallies to break into it (without causing any damage). Security...huh!

That is just awesome. It looks to be a targa version, is that correct?

Does anyone know if Koenig still does this conversion on old 348s? No doubt many would say it is ridiculous given the cost of a used 348 versus the probable conversion costs (as quoted in the website), but it seems darn attractive when once considers how rare one of these things really is....

Remember Katie Price before she became Jordan, she was pretty, now she looks like a Trog! Same goes for these as far as I'm concerned, yes the performance is impressive but the styling is truly aweful!

If it's not broke don't fix, Ferrari makes and has made some of the most beautiful cars known to man so why go and f**k about with it!

Just leave it - they looks awesome as it is!

I would have thought if you hit them with enough money they would do another one

I wouldn't call it rare as its not a genuine factory built car like a Gto, otherwise that would make any Nova with a one off bodykit rare & attractive, also that would mean I own the worlds rarest lightweight Mondial racecar:)
