More Old Photos

Some of you Fchatters inspired me to buy a slide scanner. After much ado I finally got it working correctly! Here are just two from my collection!

The driver on the right appears to be Peter Schetty.

Thanks, The driver on the right was the only one I wasn`t sure of. That would have made a good trivia question!

Those look like the Spyder version of the 312P, in the paddock at Monza.

The 158 F1 appears to be at Clermont-Ferrand in the 1965 French GP.

Brilliant, brilliant pictures - hope you've got lots more........

Today's Pics

The second picture is LeMans 1962 with 0808 in front of the second place GTO of Guichet & Noblet (3705?). The third is a F1 drivers meeting. The photo is a little dark. I don't know if the first one is 1961 or 62. As my friend Steve would say...enjoy!

David,

If you would email me the original scan in Hi-Res, I can brighten them up a little and scale them down for posting on Fchat for you (won't run off with them, they're your photos).

And you can tweak the color, too.

The first of the those shows Baghetti at Spa in 1962; I think the last one is too, from the trees in the background and from the driver lineup: Mairesse, Trevor Taylor, Maggs, Clark, Baghetti, McLaren, and the helmet of Ricardo Rodriguez just visible.

More, more, more.............(slavering like a dog!)

I welcome any participation! Perhaps Rob or one of the moderators could make this a main stay(like the Bikini thread or 0846)!
