I don't actively search out Sponsors, all the Sponsors on FerrariChat.com contacted me initially. I also don't beg for subscribers. Allow me once or twice a year to describe why subscriptions are good for the community and users.
Subscriptions started years ago after demands from users to donate back to the community. I don't believe in taking donations, FerrariChat.com is a for profit business no matter how small that profit is. I refused all donations. Community was supported completely by Sponsors up to that point. So the initial motivation for starting voluntary subscriptions was to allow users to "give" back to the community and also balance our other source of revenue from sponsors. By balance I mean that our customer base was now both on the user and commercial side. No group had any more power or sway in the community.
We have evolved subscriptions where hopefully we haven't taken anything away from non-subscribers, but we certainly reward those users that subscribe. Our goal is to go above and beyond with Silver and Rossa subscribers and give you back many times more value than you give. I don't beg anyone to subscribe, but we appreciate subscribers and what they contribute to the community. We hope the subscription gives you that much more from the community.

That's all folks, FerrariChat.com doesn't make much money, but every penny is appreciated so we can improve the community. I think everyone can appreciate the server upgrades we went through this year. There are also accountants, lawyers, techies, and magazines to pay. Maybe one day we will be able to support the FerrariChat.com community full time.
