Thanks, I try. I never see 348s with the exception of at the dealership. I would think you would see them fairly often. On the road I have seen one red spyder and one black tb, that's it.

The spyders are definitely a totally different cars than the TB or TS. I think they are all nice no matter what anyone says.

Scott,

Spider's are way cool, I have one and love it!
Please get one so you can help me defend them.
I think everyone feels they are of poor quality
like the 348's, but they are a different breed!

What are they asking for Shell "Helix" synthetic oil? Apparently FNA is the sole importer of this stuff into the US, hence the prices at dealers are pretty steep.
Too bad that most car parts are heavy and/or bulky.

Slightly off topic, but I am looking at purchasing my first Ferrari (348 spyder) and will be in Italy in September/October. What parts are worth purchasing? Also, when I am there, I could potential pick stuff up for folks, or act as an "on site" agent to get things shipped. Please e-mail me directly or post to the list. Thanks

Try Pagani Automobili: http://www.modena-design.it/zonda.htm#eng The are also located in that area. I was supposed to visit them in March but had to cancel at the last minute. They seemed pretty nice and the car looks absolutely fantastic. Take care while you're there.

I am having a batch of stuff sent from Motor SpA(ferrari dealer) in Modena and everything seems to be much less expensive here. Anyone care to share shipping expense? I will be here till the 19th June...
Email me at [email protected] with the part number and the price you were quoted and I will return the email and tell you if it is in stock and will order it if you give the go ahead.
Thanks
Erik
Ciao è grazie
As a side note, anyone know the trick to importing to USA a used Ducati 996 motorcycle? Any other factory tours I ought to hit while I am in Europe?
