Dear Ferraristi: I bought my '94 512TR last year and it came with an incorrect tool kit that I can't identify. It is tan leather about 10x14" and sits flat on the floor and the entire top opens (unlike the correct 512TR kits that sit like an attache case). It has all the ferrari spanners, sockets, screwdrivers, belts, pliers, fuses, bulbs and the tow hook in two formed trays. ??maybe an earlier TR?? anybody know what this is? |

Kurt, the largest wrench in the 308 tool bag is size 20 and 22. There is no 21mm wrench. |

Anybody knows which sizes the 8 open ended spanners are? From 6 to 22 is 17 sizes, only 16 on 8 spanners. Which one is missing? brgds Kurt |

David, as it seems you have a complete tool roll, could you specify what exactly is in one and I will price out each piece from Snap On. Maybe lay it out and snap a photo! Thanks Erik |

You know what's funny about the original tools that come for most of these older cars? They aren't really all that great. I'm thinking that I want to assemble a tool roll with quality tools to take with me on the road. Of course I'll keep the originals for show off purposes |

If in your sick and twisted mind, you could have a wrench that either says "Craftsman" on it, or "Ferrari" on it which would you keep? Sure looks nice in the tool box at home doesn't it? ARRGHH!!! I understand what you're saying Bret, I'm lucky to get the Owner's Manual with my car. The one who keeps these is the one who sells them to us for 1000X the price. |

For the life of me I can't figure out who has all of our tools, and why would they have them. Someone must be holding dozens of tool sets for Ferraris in some secret mountain warehouse. Seriously though, why do previous owners not give up the tool kits when they sell a car, not just any car but a Ferrari nonetheless. |

I've been carrying my own tool kit in the car, but yes the originals are more appropriate. I don't understand either why owners keep these things. Souvenirs? I was lucky enough just to have the owner's manual. I was trying to put together original part & workshop manuals to keep for a future owner, but was out-bid on eBay. Oh well, next time. |

I know. My car has a tool kit, but it's not complete and not original, the tools aren't that high a quality in it. I don't use it anyway, but I would like to have the originals or at least get all of the correct tools and the pouch. My car also doesn't have a jack, which presents a problem. Hopefully I can pick them up soon. |

82 308 GTSi tool roll, jack. For the sake of saying... I wish people would be kind enough to leave these things in the car as the sell them! It is like removing the white blood cells of a human! |

Just so everyone knows... I just got my FCA news bulletin for Feb and Lance Hill's ad appears in there also but it says "In fairness can only respond if I have what you want by E-Mail or Fax. (519) 853-4775 Ontario, Can". So if no one is getting a response, you may want to list your e-mail. |

A private owner is disposing of 20+ year assembly of original tool kits, tools, pouches, manuals, related items. Probably the largest collection of tools and pouches ever in one place outside the factory. Much now gone. No lists, no dealers, end-users only. Prices established by offers made during years was not inclined to sell. Will respond only if have what you need. |
