I have a friend in PA who is a SERIOUS collector of Ferrari stuff, his house is a monument to Ferrari, Every room was full of stuff, he had a stack of douments about a yard high ALL signed by Enzo Ferrari + models built in the 1930s of Ferrari's Alfa Romeo cars & all sorts of other wild stuff. He sold his collection to Symbolic for Big $ & used part of the $ to buy a Daytona I would suggest writing to the Ferrari Market Letter or Road & Track or Cavallino. If u r in the Northeast maybe I can introduce u to my friend sometime, he doesnt do e-mail |

Wow!!! Its worth alot. This is something that should be sealed in plastic in a safety-deposit box. Ferrari always used that purple ink when signing something. Take good care of this, don't leave it lying around. |

I have a book I'd like to find the value of (and possibly sell). It's in Italian titled "Appunti di storia" by Carlo Mariani. The front flyleaf is autographed by Ferrari in purple ink with a note that appears to read "maggio 58". Stapled to this flyleaf is a postcard showing the start of the Le Mans race (naturally featuring Ferraris). The card is postmarked Le Mans and reads "Le Mans 1958. Terrific Ferrari victory. Regards (s) L. Chinetti" Above Ferrari's signature on the flyleaf is a notation reading "To Mr. Fergus. All our best wishes." It's signed Luigi Chinetti. I worked for Fergus Motors (they imported Morgans)in the mid-60s. Mr. Fergusson gave me this book when I left and I've had it since. I have no idea of it's value (if any). Can anyone help. |
