Don't worry, I took your post lightly. I will suggest the Miata posting boards to him. Thanks.

David,

I thought it was a joke. There are a lot of avid Miata fans -- did your friend submit this to the Miata posting boards?

Take my post light heartedly.

Mark

Actually he's a fun guy and wrote that in just for kicks. I think I was supposed to edit it out but what the heck do I know. Anyway he really would like to sell the car, so I'm just trying to help him out. I do know that he is a good guy and the car is nice.

A friend of mine is selling this car. He asked me if I would mind posting the info here because this is an enthusiast site. It ain't a Ferrari but it is red!

HERE IS THE INFO

Here's the URL for some photos of my Miata: http://www.oregonlive.com/pics/index.ssf?/oregon/oroneAd.cfm?AdID=4187

These are the details:

1992 A-package Miata with Jackson Racing Supercharger.

This car is in excellent condition with 78,000 miles on the odometer. I'm the second owner (always adult owned and maintained) and have all records and receipts. The car is lubricated with Redline Synthetic Oil (transmission, differential and engine). Both the interior and exterior of the car are excellent. My wife and I just had our second child and we're planning to move from Portland to Seattle, so I reluctantly have to part with this wonderful car in exchange for a little extra $$ for the new (more expensive) home.

Price: $9800 (special Ferrari Club Discount - $9750!... use the extra cash to gas up the 308!!)

MAJOR FACTORY OPTIONS:

Removeable Hard Top
Air Conditioning
Power Steering (no, it's not over-boosted)
Limited Slip Differential
5-speed

MAJOR AFTERMARKET ACCESSORIES:

Jackson Racing Supercharger (approximately 175 crankshaft horsepower).
Panasport Wheels (15x7) w/Dunlop SP8000 tires
Jackson Racing Swaybars
Koni Adjustable Shocks (on lowest perch setting - lowers the car approximately 3/4-inch)
Jackson Racing High-flow Catalytic Converter
Genie High-flow Cat-back exhaust
Braided Steel Vacuum

PERFORMANCE:

0-60 mph in the high 6-second range (i.e. 6.7 to 7.0). I've seen claims of 6.0 seconds, but the high-six to seven second range is realistic.
