I purchased a '84-180mph speedo for my '80 308-80mph under bad advice from a Chicago Ferrari dealer. They said it would switch out just fine. WRONG !! It under estimated my speed substantially. Either the sending unit or drive gear ratios are wrong. I was holding on to it to send to Palo Alto Speedometers for re-calibration but they said that they would prefer the original.The speedo cost me $450 new and I'm willing to part with it for less. It's an easy install and I took it out immediately so it has no miles on it. I'm afraid I'll have this for a long time so if anyone can use it please contact me at [email protected] I can provide the part number to make sure it's for your car |
