I've finally decided to get the Ferrari I've been desiring. It always seems that the when I've looked in the past, the Ferrari I wanted was always just out of the reach of my logical/practical brain. My wife and I have decided that it's time we fulfill this dream before its too late. Having said that, here's the basic specs of the car I'm looking for: 308 GTS QV (preferred) or 308 GTB QV Color is not critical (red is preferred) Paint and Body must be in above average condition (i.e., a few stone chips are OK, dents, scratches, color mismatch, rust bubbles are NOT OK) Interior must be in average or better condition (i.e.,leather and rugs can show normal wear, but leather cannot be torn, dash must not be cracked -- having said that, I will consider a price adjustment to cover restoration of interior) Service History must be available and Service should be upto date (if service is due and has not been done yet, I will consider price adjustment to cover cost) I will not buy the car without coming to see it and drive it, and I will have a Ferrari mechanic (preferably one who has not seen the car before)do a pre-sale inspection. I'd like to have something in my garage in Virginia before Christmas, so I can spend time working on it before I take it out in the spring. If anyone is selling a car like this or knows someone who might be looking to sell, please let me know. |
