Personally it's a specialised job that needs two pairs of hands most of the time. However the basics are you need to remove the seats (to give you plenty of room inside), remove the interior trim around the inside of the rear screen being careful not to damage the leather. Remove the engine lid and the trim around the rear screen, back inside fold the screen rubber in up over the lip of the screen aperature and as you do so put pressure on the glass itself, working round the screen the screen will eventually come out over the engine. Going back is more difficult, fit the screen rubber onto the new screen with PLENTY of rubber lubricant and with a draw string inserted in the inner lip position the screen in the aperture. This is where two sets of hands are required, with one person gently pushing on the glass from the outside the other pulls the string against the rubber on the inside of the car and this in turn will pull the rubber over the lip of the screen aperture. Seal as required, although you will more than likely find that there was no sealer applied by Ferrari originally.

This job for someone experienced would take 2-3 hours, but for the first time allow a days work. If you're not confident my advise to you is purchase an ORIGINAL screen and rubber and pay your local screen company to fit it for you

Good Luck

JScott,
I have not removed the glass before, but may be this image might shead some light on the task. To replace probably not real hard just getting the plastic, new seals and time plus I'm sure $2k or more? Good luck.

Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to change the rear glass in a 348ts? I have a small crack and am looking at replacement. Thanks, Scott
