If prying doesn't work, route a piece of nylon webbing behind the bumper, & attach the ends to a come-along that's attached to something solid (like the towing loop of another car, or a handy tree).

Pete,
Mine was the same way. It was pushed in about an inch on the left. The bumper has two gas-filled shocks to absorb impact. A small bump can compress the shock and with luck and a little coaxing, it will pop back out. If its really compressed, the gas might have escaped. Then I think you have to replace the shock. (Or compress the other one and go for the euro look.) I went in under the bumper with a pry bar and a couple small blocks of wood. A small pry on the offending shock that was compressed and it popped right back. Took me 2 minutes. Good luck!

Not sure what it looks like on a GTSi but on my 77 GTB I could just lie on the ground and look right up under the bumper.

Noticed my rear bumper is pushed in on one side -- should be a simple fix, but how to get at it?
Apologies if this is obvious & I missed it.
1982 308 GTSi
Tx!
