I have spoken with Ansa, and I am thinking of tring their exhaust instead of tubi's. If I do I will make a dyno run before and after to be sure of the diffrences. can anyone tell me approx what a stock 355 makes at the wheels? BTW- I agree with Gregg, let me ask you art355; I see your a lawyer; would your livelyhood be so good if people didn't spend money on frivilous lawsuites against each other? I take this position because I am in the automotive accessory business. If people didn't "waste time and money" changing things on thier vehicles then I wouldn't be driving a 355. (Just for info: I'm the guy that builds 500hp honda engines and I also sell perfomance parts. Seems all those 'stupid' kids have a lot of free cash to throw at their Hondas) I just reread my post- I'm not tring to be rude, I'm just saying that if someone wants to squeeze a few extra HP out of something, who am I to tell them it's a waste of time or money? My kids (3 of them) like to eat good and live in a nice house also, and those 'perfomance seeking indivduals' pay the bills!!! |

Dont worry, i was told the same. Then i did custom headers, exhaust, by pass pipes and air boxes. There is a difference, but not huge. |

It is my time, and my money, and I don't give a #*#* whether you or anyone else thinks that it is a waste of time. It is vacuous, sophomoric thinking like yours that keeps me from posting more often. |

TRhis is a waste of time. Almost no gain, and every year you've got to put the CATS back on. Art |

Mitch, yes, however substitute "test pipes" for cats. |

Kevin, I really don't feel any difference in performance. I didn't do a dyno this time, however, when I put the cats back on to pass inspection, I might do it. I honestly don't expect to see much difference. The aural quality of the engine note is much more visceral, and at low RPM's, the decibel level is not much higher. |

Greg: just to be clear; You are not running the two cats from the header to the exhaust. But you are running the 2 cats in the Y-pipe up towards the 3500 RPM exhasust valve. Yes? |

Hey Gregg, Do you feel like the car is faster (more powerful) without the cats, or is it just louder? did you happen to dyno it before and after? |

I've test pipes and a Tubi exhaust on my 95 F355 Spider. No more check engine light, however, I can't speak for OBDII equipped cars. The car runs cooler, which is important here in Houston, Texas. |

The Tubi is the best exhaust in the world for this car. With test pipes the sound is literally unbelievable. |

I am thinking of putting test pipes and an Ansa muffler on my 97 355. can anyone tell me if the computer will give me a check engine light? I know there are some sensors in the cat, and I dont want to cause any problems... Also, how does the Ansa compare to the Tubi in sound and performance? |
