Gentlemen, Based on Peter's info, I checked/replaced new terminals connected to 2 coils. Replaced relay.Unpluged and re-inserted plugs to both ignition modules. Make sure module's GND is secured. After all these, problem still exist. During the time car unable to start, I checked the voltage at coils and ignition modules, all have about 12v at the time. Why there's no sparks at this time is the millions dollars question? There are three magnetic pick-up. One for 1-3 TDC,one for 5-8 TDC, and one for engine speed pick-up. Do they have anything to do with the firing?Could one of the pick-up control the sparks or all three? I have checked all the connectors that are on the ignition circuit layout in the owner manual except those three pick-up. Am I getting close to the proplem? |
