The lever that the handle slid onto is a round metal tube. The button was still attached at the end, so it is seperate from the black rubber handle itself. -John |

John, Is the metal handbrake lever its self round and fully solid under the rubberised handbrake handle ?? |

Mine was loose, it slid on and off without trying. The glue that held it on had failed. I just added more glue to keep it in place. So, unless it varies by model year, there shouldn't be any screws holding it on, just pull & twist to get it off. Good Luck - John |

Guys, Does enyone know if the rubberised handbrake handle can be removed. I wish to have a carbon fibre handbrake handle made and installed ??? |
