This came across the Ferrarilist, I thought it'd be welcome over here as well...usual disclaimers apply, I have no afilliation etc. etc. etc. This is an invitation that was sent out to all NW Region FCA members. If there are any Seattle-area listers who would like to attend, please RSVP and I will send directions. We have received a great response so far, and we expect a good turnout. We've got a wide variety of cars planning to attend, including a 166MM. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Jenkins [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, July 04, 2001 1:12 PM Subject: Ferraris on the Lawn Picnic Greetings NW Region Ferrari Club Members! Don't miss the Ferraris in the Lawn Picnic on Saturday, July 28th at 1:00 PM, hosted by Steve and Kay-dawn Jenkins at their Maple Valley Residence. We have room for at over 100 Ferraris on the back lawn. Here's a sample of what merely 8 Ferraris on a small part of our back lawn looks like: http://www.ferrariclub.com/graphics/ferrarilawn.jpg Our goal is to have at least 70 cars attend, and we plan to have a helicopter on hand to take aerial photos. Non-Ferraris are also welcome, and ample parking is available on a private street. Please arrive by 1:00pm so we can position the Ferraris early and enjoy a leisurely lunch together. In addition to your Ferrari(s), you should bring a picnic blanket (to sit on the lawn) and a picnic lunch. A large BBQ grille will be warmed up if you'd like to cook something. This is not a formal concours, but prizes will be awarded for Best 6, 8, and 12 Cylinder Ferrari, Oldest Ferrari, Most Unique Ferrari, Best of Show, and a "Ladies Choice" award as voted upon by all the ladies in attendance at the picnic. If youd like to attend, please RSVP to me by replying to this email ([email protected]) so we have some idea of the number of cars to expect. If you know a Ferrari owner who is not a member of the club, invite them to bring their car, too! Ferrari of Seattle is sending out an invitation to all their Ferrari-owning customers to attend, as well. Please RSVP now if you plan to attend! ------------------------ Steve Jenkins Communications Director NW Region Ferrari Club of America http://www.ferrariclub.com/ |
