Guys:
the race was greqat, too bad that Rubins broke at the last minute. Indy has Jumbotrons in each of the corners, so you are watching TV there also. There were thousands of people all of whom left at the same time. It is a once in a lifetime event, but having seen it in person, the next time, I'll watch it on tv.

Hey Guys,
Since there was not much response to the USGP watching invite, Let's do this:
Not really a party, just show up / hang out at my house and watch the races then have some lunch, here or there..
1- Race pre-show starts at 10:30 and the race
starts at 11:00. I think it's over at 1:00PM.
2- To make it really easy, just bring your own drinks/snacks, I'll have some chips @ salsa here.
3- For lunch, we'll just figure it out here then zip to the store (close by) for some stuff, (got BBQ) or just go somewhere after the race, play it by ear.
So just show up if you can.

Guys,
How's this:
USGP= My house, 32" TV...Bose/THX Digital Theater sound. House not that big, so lets pack it.
Rob Lay says ABC at 10:00 AM (need to confirm)
BBQ for lunch, everybody brings a little stuff
I can handle ... 1/2 dozen cars or so
... I will be watching ... no matter (almost)what happens.

I wanna play too.
I love watching races. Granted I'd rather go see it like Art, but hey, I'm fine with a tv too. Besides, it's easier to see more of the action on tv, you just can't feel it.
I'd offer my house as a meeting point, but I do not get any input tv signal, so someone would have to videotape the race first. kind of defeats the purpose.

You and BruceK (also from this site) go have fun, we'll just have to be content to sit on Larry's couch. Bring back a win and heck, see what you can do about bringing back that F1 car - might be fun to play around with, ya know how our Ferrari's just aren't enough. Only kidding. Have a safe trip and enjoy the race.

Maybe a variation would be a tech session either before the race or after with a BBQ???
If I had enough space and parking I do the BBQ'ing at my house.

Anyone interested in a US/GP party? FCA-Pacific does not have any events scheduled.
I'm thinking if we can find a Pizza Joint with a Large screen that will host an F1 party or maybe someone in the area with a large screen, sound and room that would enjoy hosting us.
This could be really fun if we add-in some party gimmicks
