John, Just a thought. At the Atlanta Wine Show yesterday I found out that a new winery, Wolf Mountain Vinyards, is having its 1st annual wine and car get together on May 3rd. The owner of the vineyard said that the Porsche club and some others will be there. I don't know if this is something you might want to pursue for the F club but I thought I should pass it along to you. The vineyard is located at, 180 Wolf Mountain Trail, Dahlonega. The phone number is 706-867-9862.

Next time John.

Bad news, good news....

Went to have my brake fluid changed and tech inspection for next weeks romp at L'il Taladega.

Bad news....leak in power steering rack...needs to be replaced.....$3500 parts + 12 hours labor.

OUCH!!!

Good news....Bought my 355 from a Dealer (Tonkin) last July and asked for a Ferrari "Power Train Plus" 1 year warranty. Paid $2k for it at the time and was always asking my self (up til today) if It was worth the money, seeing I'll only put on about 4000 miles a year on the car. Mark at FOA check it out for me and I AM COVERED!!!!!!! YEAH !!!!!

Dodged a bullet. There kinda slow in the service dept so I'll have my car back for the 8th.

Still have time left to break some more major components ;^P

Another post...

I scheduled a paintless dent removal guy to show up at 10 am to remove door ding on the spot and at a discount. Anyone needing this service should get there early. I have used this guy in the past and he is top notch. He can remove a simple ding from a fender or hood in under 10 minutes.
I think we will have a great showing, weather permitting

This was a post on the site from the 24th.

60 degrees and sunny. It is going to be a great day. Will start at the shop. We will go up 400 through Dahlonega then to Suches, around Lake Winfield Scott past Vogel State Park to the Richard B Russel Hwy or we can go up to Brasstown Bald. Back down to Helen to 75 and Cleveland. We can stop for food here if everyone wants to, then back to 400 and home. If this is okay, fine. If not let me know.

Go to: www.ipc-ga.com then click "discussion" then "forum". Sounds like a big Porshe Club deal. Viper guys are apparently invited too.
