Read the fine print, there's almost alaways an exception for the terminally ill. Also, it's a play on fraud; especially, if you commit to the marriage under the pretense of defrauding the ins. co. |

You can't stop death, it's gonna happen. So wouldn't it be best if people could benefit a little off it? Let's say an insurance policy pays $50k, and after the person dies you split the money with someone the choose? |

If you have a job that gives life insurance to your spouse regardless of her current medical condition is it legal to marry a person that is dieing to get the money? |
