Bob; Racecar Engineering had a story bout this break system in the Aug 2003 issue. I looks to be a possible hot set up for formula cars that are restricted to a spec wheel diameter. It has myself wondering about making one for my dirt bike, since i am not happy with the overall performance of the oversize rotors avaliable. Rob

Just reading about this in the new issue of Automotive Engineering ( SAE ) looks pretty neat, fixed caliper and 2 floating discs. 3 pads with the center being double faced, claiming 1.7 times the torque output of a conventional system |
