Joe your spot on in my opinion the car gets its intended point across which is to have the passerby's draw drop and then prompltly utter "what a rich cocksucker" under their breath but pretty it is not-it looks like a beautiful 20's era rolls was given some good old 2003 design by commitee treatment- however you gotta admire bmw for their balls in making this thing they could have gone the safe route- ala bentley gt - but nope they went all out anyways - if you guys have yet to see one go down to your towns local rolls dealership and check one out |

David Charles, Where I live, I'll never see the new Phantom driving down the road but I have seen plenty of pics and video footage of it. I hate to say it, but I find it utterly hideous. It just looks like a big block/slab of something - like a Sub-Zero fridge rolling down the road. To me, it defines ostentatious, conspicuous over-consumption. Tacky tacky tacky. If one is in the market for a super-sedan, I can't think of anything better than an Arnage T for looks, performance and bang for the buck. Take the approx. $100K that you just saved and put it toward a 550/575! P.S. I think the Maybach is pretty fugly too. (I know that's pretty opinionated for someone that drives a Tahoe - sorry ! ) |

i was taking a baseball lesson the other day here in vegas- and got there a bit early- so I decided to stop by Towbin bentley/rolls/hummer some sweet rides there red 360- so nice in person under indoor lighting grey murcielago- yum yum must say the murci while beautiful looks much less organic than the 360 maybe it was the color anyways tons of arnage's and azures but the one vehicle that really stood out was the new phantom has anyone seen this thing- the car has more presence than any other automobile i have ever seen it is gigantic- nothing prepared me for the sheer size of this thing the grill is the size of someones front gate -just enormous- and it must be noted the shiniest piece of metal i have ever witnessed on a car- like a piece of tiffany silverware anyways curious to see your guys thoughts

Gawd I love these tubs....literally.....riding in a Corniche or any RR is like floating along in an oversprung bathtub. They are great values used...as long as they do not break. |

Saw an older Rolls Royce on the freeway today...looked like 50s styling but I dont know the models well enough to tell you which one it was. I love Rolls Royce though, and I would love to add an older one in my garage in teh future. |

ebay shows that Bentley and RR values tank fast. That Continental GT is gorgeous though - I want to see one in person. The 4 sec 0-60 is something, but ever wilder is the 3.something sec. 60-90! |

Would love to see the photos! I have noticed a number of "last series" Azures for sale around the US, with the suggestion that they are in some sense a "collector's item." All sticker around $390k or so; with low mileage late model Azures available in the 200s, I wonder what buyers pay for a new one, and whether they really have any longer term value as part of the last series. |
