Based on the pictures shown; how do you go about becoming a Japanese citizen ? I am ready to move. Western women have much to learn from the ladies in the Far East. |

If that's the new fashion rage, I'll be in for some interesting viewing in a few weeks. Have to go over there again for work. Mostly in a "small" town 50 or so miles outside Tokyo, but the weekends will be in T-town. Japan is an awesome place. |

Amir, I've just returned from a gig and unfortunately I'm off to LA in the morning for some meetings (and the Dodger game...) and won't be back until Thursday evening. But when I'm back I'd be happy to fill you in. If I wrote now it would be mostly the beer talking. More soon... -Rich |

Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, remote islands, small city, big city, anywhere. Along with running companies and brokering cars and the hundred thousand other things you know about, you can provide input on this, too? Taek, you are truly da renaissance man! |

This thread is directed at Rich Stephens, but if anyone else has any experience of living there, please chime in. I just want to know what it's like to live and work in Japan. The country, the history, the modernity, the culture, etc., everything there fascinates me. Rich, what were the highs and lows? How did you master the language? How long did it take you? Were you single while living there? If so, how was that? How were you treated? What did you do on weekends? Tell me everything, please! Thanks, Amir. |
