What kind of question was it Jordan? I am having a tough time imagining it being THAT hard? What could it possibly be? :-)

It really is appalling how ignorant and indifferent most Americans are to our politics and respective politicians. I find it hilarious and sad at the same time watching things such as "Jay Walking" on the Jay Leno Show when he asks simple questions about various politicians and most of the people can't even remember who the VP is let alone anything more important. Yet ask them who Britney Spears or J-Lo is and they can tell you everything about them....er, then again they're both crazy hot so I guess I can understand that much :-)

Do you guys remember the literacy test the African Americans had to pass in order to vote? It was IMPOSSIBLE to pass. Our teacher gave it to us one day and none of us got past hte first question...out of a class of 35.

I dont know if another voter IQ test would be such a good idea...although I do agree that most voters cant make an educated opinion on why they want to vote for who they do...Instead of another test for voters, I think should all just REALLY study the differences between candidates and what exactly they are voting on.

Now they are afraid that 40K voters will not be
able to punch the ballet. NOW it is time to bring
it to everyones attention. NOT before.

>>I have always supported the concept that a "voter IQ test" be administered before being allowed to participate in democracy. <<

Are you kidding? The ACLU sucessfully sued to even block a list of "Voters responsibilities" to be posted at Florida polls arguing that the Voting rights act bans ANY REQUIREMENT THAT VOTERS DEMONSTRATE "ABILITY TO READ, WRITE, UNDERSTAND OR INTERPRETE ANY ISSUE" !!!!!!!!!!!

I have always supported the concept that a "voter IQ test" be administered before being allowed to participate in democracy.

Simply being able to put a stick in a hole doesn't do it for me.
