Hard not to take the local rag. So I'll go with Jeff, I guess, and the Wash Post, notwithstanding its obsession with the political world, weak business section, abysmal to no coverage of auto racing while giving absurd emphasis to womens sports, minimal book section, and "slant." Find the NYT and the WSJ far more intelligent reads. |

I get the Oregonian, WSJ and NYT. If I had to choose just one it would be the NYT. |

Since I live in the DC area, it would have to be the Post for me. NY times has too much of a slant. |

if you could only read one general news newspaper daily, which one would it be?
stuff like wsj and ft don't count as general news newspapers in my book, although they do cover some general news.
ny times?
one of the chi papers?
washington post?
