Taek-Ho,

I fully agree with your comments about Boxster and Carrera. It is getting more and more difficult to justify the getting of a Carrera, when you can get more or less the same thing with the Boxster - and that, with a convertible top thrown in as well.

I too would like to see the Bentley GT rolling off the line as soon as possible.

Jeff,

Not just Ferrari!

Porsche better get it's act together with differentiating the Boxster and Carreras a little better.

I hope they build it. Its a good time to be a car enthusiast!

Cheers

That sounds like it was a good time. How did you get picked for the study? Too bad about the top, I was hoping for an auto hard top. For that price, even though it is a different breed,Ferrari better step it up!

In my opinion, Aston Martins resale value suffers because their cars are VERY uncomfortable for a bigger person. I have way more legroom and width in my 360 than the DB7 Vantage that costs about $150K. A lot of people that would be in the market for their cars are not exactly in the best physical shape.

now, if I had the Bentley I could imagine being 350lbs and still manage to squeeze my fat A$$ into that conolly leather seat without breaking it, and still be comfortable :-)

Ok, so it was at the Long Beach convention center. I had to go through 3 levels of security that was more intense that LAX. I had to leave my briefcase, pda, blackberry, camera, phone, and all metal objects in a locker that they provided. when I went to the restroom they escorted me. I think they would have shot someone if a flash went off.

They said it would be about $180K so I dont think Ralph will find one at $190K off :-)

It was a softtop. Those huge leather the wood trim looked unbeleivable with the roof off.

They would not even say "if" they will make it, let alone when.

Jeff, a very good choice, they also had the coupe there, I would buy one if I could get one. I heard that Beverly hills will get about 50 a year and have over 150 people with deposits waiting

Please let me know when the car is available with 3K miles, (books, tools, and service records), one owner, and five years old: For $190,000 off of MSRP.

Adam
I think that VW is very serious. I think Lambo/Bentley/Bugatti/are all going to be contenders. Now we need to work on them to make a street legal Speed 8 Bentley!

On Friday I went to a focus group in Long Beach, CA. I spent 2 1/2 hours giving my opinion of a Bentley Continental GT Convertible. They paid me $250 for my time, I would have done it for free:-)

They put the car in a line up with an Porsche C4 Cab, MBZ SL55, Aston Martin Vantage DB7,MBZ CLK55, and a Maserati Spyder. They all looked like toys next to a vehicle with that kind of presence.

It was very sexy, with true Bently class and style, not to mention a V12-6L, twin turbo, 565hp monster of an engine that will move that beast 0-60 in 4.7seconds and take you all the way to 192mph. I will be first in line if they decide to produce it.
