Ken, We are going to need to know what the software is? Just look in your add/remove programs list in the control panel. |

I recently downloaded Spyware Software (forget the brand name - but it was recommended here on Fchat and was a free download)and installed it on my laptop. I ran the program and I no longer have network access with my laptop via my wireless pcmcia card. I am assuming that the software disabled my connection for "security" reason, but I do not know how to re-establish the connection. I uninstalled the program thinking that it would resolve the program, but I still do not have access. How do I correct the problem? I am running Windows XP Professional on a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop. I have a Linksys Wireless PCMCIA card on the G frequency. Thanks. Ken |
