John, I haven't had them fixed, because, as I said, they are minor issues and have not been bothering me yet. I was going to fix the lighter fuse today, but the fuse box is behind the glove box and I didn't want to go crazy with the screwdriver. |

I have one- 03 silver, fully optioned. Love it and had no problems. It saved my life and now is in the shop; Can't wait to get my rover back. G500 doesn't even compare. I looked into it when I was buying, and it simply is not as good. Basicly for me it is my 2 fav thing rolled into one....a BMW 7 series with a range rover's capablitities. Its not as fast as or brake as well as a 7, but then it does what it was made for perfectly. The ultimate foul weather daily driver. |

Thats all the problems you've had? A fuse needed replacing, the wheels need to be aligned (probably because you bumped into a curb)? Thats VERY good for 6,000 miles. Why haven't you fixed all those things, they're tiny! |

Hello all, I just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with the 2003 Range Rover. I was looking at it a few months ago, but decided to go with the MB G500. After 6,000 miles, the car is still solid, but a few minor issues have arose: blown lighter fuse, driver windows makes a *clunk* when it is rolled down, and the car pulls to the right for some reason (wheel alignment? just started happening - what causes that?) Anyway, my family is looking for another SUV (the G is off with me at college), and my mom is seriously considering the 2003 Range Rover. Are there any problems with the car that anyone here knows of? I have heard horror stories with the pre-2003 Range's, but this car is supposed to be totally different. Also, what do people here predict in terms of resale value? It seems that the resale for the pre-2003 Range's are very low. Any input would be appreciated, thanks. |
