DES,

The name "stokpro" was given to me that way, but people always get it mixed up with "stockpro". I like the former. BTW, you have mail!

Andrew, i've considered that but i don't think i'm good enough at anything for some company to hire me AND cough up 'relocation costs'...

DES,

That's why you have the hiring company pay your relocation expenses. A friend of mine relocated from Seattle to Portland, OR and the company gave him $12k for relocation costs. He didn't hire a mover, instead moved everything himself, and rented a U-Haul trailer. Total relocation costs... less than $200 and he pocketed the remainder.

Andrew, you spelled 'stock' wrong in 'stokpro'. :-)

On a serious note, i sent you a privte message, 6:58PM EST... i'm leaving the office now and won't have access to email until tomorrow; if, by tomorrow, you've not yet received it, please email me, [email protected] or [email protected] - either one will do. Thanks again... :-)

LOL... The words aren't so bad, but math and i had so much trouble getting along back in school, that if i really concentrated on my work to get it done, i'd get a headache... No joke...

Andrew, i'm not limiting myself, i just can't afford a cross-country move... i've considered freelance writing, i just need to get off my lazy ass and send some submissions to some different publications... Was gonna do that with m story about my trip to California, but after submitting it to one publication, i want to wait to see if they publish it before i go sending it off to other magazines...

No, i'm definitely the freak chatter who's definitely collecting business cards from Ferrari dealerships... :-) The private message system here is a little squeemish - can you email at [email protected] or post yours and i'll send you one...? Either way is fine with me... Thanks...

DES.....Now I know....Funnest is a word!!!

I'll add that to my vocabulary.

By the way, thanks for the vote of confidence for my spelling/grammar....just keep looking. Each letter I type gets me closer to a mess-up! I'm a math guy.....

DES,

PM me your address and I'll send a few cards out. You are still collecting them right or did I get you mixed up with another f-chatter? You're limiting your passion to just NY/NJ/PA? You wouldn't relocate to CA to work for Forza? How about doing some freelance writing?

DES.....is 'funnest' a word???? Shouldn't it be "the most fun"?

Fred...

Main Entry: [3]fun
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s):
sometimes funner sometimes funnest
Date: circa 1846
1 : providing entertainment, amusement, or enjoyment <a > <a >
2 : full of fun <a > <have>
However, as you stated, 'most fun' would also be correct...

Lastly, i think you're a little too hard on yourself:

I can't spell at all. I think my grammar is even worse!!

Not only was all your spelling correct in that post, but all your grammar was correct, as well... :-)

Andrew, thanks, what a compliment...! i've always been a fan reading/writing and would love to get into it... Insurance isn't exactly exciting, but it pays the bills; however, it's not paying the bills very well...

As far as business cards from Ferrari of Seattle, well, i don't "need" them(:-)), but i would certainly want some, thanks... :-)

i don't suppose anyone has any idea if Forza or some other such publication has offices in the NY/NJ/PA areas...? i'm a lazy f_ck, though, i should just check it out myself... i think i'll look into that... Aside from my part time job at Human-I-Tees, i have no "real" experience...

DES,

You ought to get into writing/editing for $$$$. You're a natural. How about working for Forza or another auto magazine/journal? That would fulfill two passions in one. BTW, do you need business cards from Ferrari of Seattle? I'll send 'em if you do.

i'm BIIIIG on spelling... Very anal about it... Always have been, always will be... Spelling and grammar... Got a part time job when i was in high school proof reading applications for t-shirts for Human-I-Tees... Not the funnest job, but it was cool...

i wouldn't mind editing for a magazine or newspaper (if they let me have my own column on the side.. :-))

Rob,

I'm definitely not one of your students. I'm a stickler for spelling for some reason. People always seem to get "loose" and "lose" mixed up. And there are plenty others, too.

Are you sure you are not one of my students????

My most common one that i see is lube writen down as "lub"

The sad part is that i cannot deduct points for spelling or grammar.
