Art - Yes I am aware of that. It's actually a moniker because I am huge Van Halen fan. 5150 is EVH's studio name - which is named after the California code..............Thanks.

Wolfgang:

Did you know that the California Welfare & Institutions Code, Section 5150 deals with an involuntary 48 hour mental health committment?

$299 with no digi-cam? I think camera-cell is the trend & you gotta have it to be "cool" :-)

I just picked up an Ericsson T616 for $50 with 2-year contract, after rebate. It's not a bad phone(for $50 that is).

No way in hell my home would ever run windows.

Might as well just hang myself, because the house'd see me dead soon enough.

Best!
Ben.

I have a Kyocera Smartphone. Similar deal except it's a palm device. It crashes every two or three days. Sigh.

I'm a computer geek (so I have been told) and although i love some of Microsoft's product if I saw billy now I would have a couple of words for him. We are in the process of converting from Novell to Microsoft and yesterday was my day to migrate my mail over and you guessed it ALL GONE!

DES,

While Microsoft does have some buggy software, many many many of the problems people experience are more due to the crappy software they run, and not actually to Windows.

Windows has gotten a lot better over the last few years. Everyone complains about Windows, yet there are alternatives (Mac, Linux, OS/2, DOS) but nobody wants to run them either because they actually like Windows, they just like to have something to whine about.

Pat, just imagine if you lived in one of those smart homes where there's computers throughout the entire house that run everything... Just speak into the air and say what you want... Ask for breakfast or to have the alarm be set for the night and all of a sudden your effing bedroom window pops open... Then the living room window jumps up... Then the windows in the kitchen start opening, one right after another... and then......

i have a Sprint phone and it crashes just like Windows... i mean, it freezes up, locks up just like my effing computer... It's crap... Don't get it, guaranteed it'll just be more problems... BesiDES, anything involving Microshit is gonna have Explorer - it's gonna suck when you're trying to dial a number and these friggin' pop-up ads keep comin' up on your screen while you're trying to dial... Ugh...
