Roel, Sell? No chance, wife goes first... (you have to get your priorities right). Yes, manufactured '94 registered Feb '95. Not sure that I could ever part with her (the car), maybe for a RHD 355 F1 but even then it is pretty special and I just don't think I could do it! |

One of the finest 348's i've ever seen. Beautiful Gordon ! simply stunning. Registered in '95, manufactured in '94 I presume? Let me know when you're ready to part with it Oh, I'll need a LHD conversion though.... |

Hi, to answer the question about is it one of the Michelotto's, I wish! It is #41 of a total of 50 that were built right at the end of the 348 production as GT Competizione. 42 LHD, 8 RHD. Mine is one of the 8 RHDs, (I live in the UK so that's handy!). The car was first registered in Feb. '95, currently 13,500 miles. SN 99068. There is precious little info available from Ferrari on the Competizione, although the diffences are many. Scuderia badges (like the Challenge), 17 in. split rims, another 20 BHP, Kevlar sill panels, stripped out interior with F40 style Kevlar racing seats with 4 point belts, drilled aluminium pedals and the steering wheel has the car's particular number (IE 41/50 in this case)inscribed. I found a load of info on a qv500.com, a very informative site for all Ferrari models if you didnt know about it. |

Thanks for the welcome and I look forward to not only contributing but learning from you guys. One thing I have learned about Ferrari's is there is a wealth of experience and knowledge out there and I look foward to taking it in and applying! As stupid as it sounds it took me ages to find the battery on the GTC, I was too embarassed to ask the garage and picked it up from fellow owners via the web, the real experts. (who would have thought it would be stuffed in the left front wheel well anyway!) Cheers! |
