Not trying to be a smartass, but the burnt pics answer the question from a while ago regarding red cars having a yellow base coat. |

Bret, scroll down a bit. I think you missed Eriks recent post. His whole shop burned down taking many cars along with the 308. |

I always though that it was a relatively small car fire that cause you to have to do the restoration. Damn. You've done a really good job on your car, a lot of work, but it'll be worth it in the end. |

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I especially know how much work and love you've put into "restoring" your rossa corsa baby. I'll be the first to donate to your site if you start one... :-) |

Erik - I'm so sorry. I'm glad you weren't hurt - Cars can be replaced - but a true Ferrari Fan is priceless and can't be. Nika |

Erik, that is really sad. It is all the worse when I scroll down and see your work in progress and how happy you were with it. Let us know your progress as you recover from this disaster. |

Indeed the bumpers have been fitted(not very swiftly I might add) to be USA legal(sorta) It has the original ft markers plus the added USA ft and rear rectangle markers. It had a Euro rear decklid, which I have replaced with a USA U shaped grille stlye decklid. I will update the link to photos later. |

No US car had that rear valence!, the car was was most likely fitted with US bumpers and side marker lights so that it could be imported whereas the rear valence did not need to be changed. Bottom line... the rear valence is the dead give away and for you naysayers I am sure the VIN # will back that statement up. By the way, why would he title the link "Eriks Euro...." if his car wasn't euro? |

The basic car is the same, you make some modifications to make it Euro or whatever. Now I would not cal it an Euro, only the VIN tells the thruth. Erik, I belive it is a euro if you say so, do you still have the original fron bumper and grille, I could do my USA to Euro |

The car is a euro, look at the rear valence. Bumper were most likely added to meet US requirments. |

Erik, is your car really an euro? The front bumper looks very much a USA, like mine. |
