Jim,
I went through the off-set issue when I had BBS make me up a set of 17" wheels for my BB. It's really quite simple to determine the orginal off-set...and presumeably have the new wheels made to the same spec. The spline drive hub adapter does not come into play when making the calculation.

Here's how I did it...
Remove wheel fom car and place face down on the soft surface. Take a piece of wood, such as a long 2"x4" and place across the inside edge of the wheel. Accurately measure the distance from the lower edge of the 2"x4" to the inner wheel surface where the spline drive adapter bolts to.

With that dimension known, you can be assured that no wheel to suspension contact will occur...though on turn-in, with very wide tires...rubbing may be an issue.

Originally, I had 15x7.5" fronts and 15x9.0" rears. The new wheels, which have exactly the same offset, as the old ones...are 17x8" front and 17x10" rear. No clearance or rubbing problems anywhere. See profile picture...

Feel free to contact me PM...and I'll discuss the process with you via phone.

Regards,
David

Do you know the offsets? The reason I ask is I have been going back and forth with Speedline and they tell me I can't do a wheel with certain offsets or widths and then I send them a pic of what I want and they say..oh we can do that.

I don't know what offsets to tell them to get what I want.

18x9, 18x11, tires will be 245/35, 295/35. Will post pics as car nears completion, should be finished in 3 or 4 weeks (even though I've heard that a few times).

Those look awesome. What sizes did you get and what tire sizes? Would like pics on the car for future reference.

My Kinesis wheels finally came in for my Koenig TR. Car has been in the shop way too long, but finally started wiring harness for new computer Autronic (similiar to Motec).
