i mentioned the fact that they were using two different ferraris while watching the movie, noting the differences between the 550 and 575M, and i was looked at like i was crazy. i'm glad to know i was right though.

Out of the people who saw the movie, I'm sure the percentage that could tell the difference between a 550 and 575 is miniscule.

Did FNA get paid for this? Or was it done simply out of the goodness of their heart?
Hmmm

The Director originally approached Porsche for cars but was turned down, so he used his personal 550 and Ferrari provided a 575.

Andrew I saw that as well. At some point on the street or highway scenes, the back of the car does not have the horse logo-whoops!

Jean, there was an article about this in the latest issue of Prancing Horse... No time to go into full detail, but Ferrari supplied one car and the director used his own for the other car; both cars were fine until Martin Lawrence rammed the director's car into a concrete thingie at the end of filming... i shudder just thinking about that.

Anyone know why they use a 550 Maranello (grigio titanio) and a 575MM (grigio titanio) for the same car in the movie Bad Boys II. You can view easily the difference, show the front grill and the wheels.
Have they destroy the car, many cars ???

Otherwise the movie is good and one sees many time the Ferrari in the first part of the movie, but for some plans there are some special effects, because a Ferrari, that is expensive ! :-)
