I did some checking. The mansion was listed at $15M as "unlived in". Kick in the F50 and F40 resell and I think he'll be okay. Go to MSN Money and check SEIEQ Key Developments for the whole story. Berkshire Hathaway doesn't screw up too often. A search on the CFO reflects a jury award of $4.2M for wrongful termination. Are these interesting folks or what? Doesn't say if she drove a Ferrari or not. Maybe someone could explain all that stock repurchase as high as 14.45 a share. It closed today at .32 and is not currently trading. What's Warren Buffets home number? He's in play with CenterPoint Energy too. Houston, Texas home town guys!!! |

If you think that's "interesting", you should see some of the wallpaper & hand-made tiles on some of the walls of the huge mansion he was building (before he got in deep doodoo) in Houston. The man needs some salt peter in a big way... Nuff said. |

William, I invite you and all Fchat members to next year's Art Car Ball, where there will be a wild costume party with scantily clad ladies and a HUGE amount of revelry! That's the standard stuff. Then there's options! I've got to get the photo posting thing down, I've got some scrapbook stuff that would be PG rated. Paul always was cordial, I hate to see anybody's love life put out there on the street. Something about "glass houses" comes to mind. |

I didn't mean to diaparage the guy. I just searched on his name on google and those were some of the first articles that appeared. Kidnapping is one thing, but what someone does in their bedroom is their own business. Bring on the tiger suits! They'rrrrrrrrrrreeeeee Great!!!! |

Yea, when I'm feeling REALLY selfish I wear my fur coat inside out!!! What a wild story!!! LOL Paul is pretty hard to find and if this is in tomorrow's paper, I think he'll be even HARDER to find! Maybe the F50 was hard to move because it was obviously the oldest one. He had an F40 also, and ran the 348 Challenge series way back when. Last time I visited the firm all the Ferrari photos were off the lobby wall. Warren B. bought Sietel last month, did the stock move up or down? The books I'm sure rival Enron's as interesting reading. The amount they were trying to recover from Paul went from around $650K up to the $1.2M - $1.4M neighborhood. Glad I'm not livin' in that neighborhood. I think most of the Enron guys gave their cars back too. Of course if you are in the market via retirement plans, none of this is very funny. I agree those pics would be great! Somebody use the open records act and get those babies out here! |

paul was caught in a bad situation, with stock prices falling, they needed a scape goat and paul took the fall. i don't think there was ever any misperception about what paul was doing, hell , he would've been stupid to be as public as he was if he was doing something improper. rob is right, once you go public, you have a different group of people to answer to. |

Jim and everyone, we've discussed Paul before. Also, his racing expenses and company stuff isn't that bad, his company was private and he could do what he wanted, but then after going public it puts you under different standards. |

the car was definitely pauls. the defense has stated that the picture of paul in the Tigger outfit was taken at a halloween party and had nothing to due with a sexual trist, in fact on of the girls in the photo was pauls cousin. let's see, when was the last time i was at a halloween party in a tigger costume posing with my HOT cousin in her panties? hell, when was the last time i was at a halloween party that had hot girls in their panties? maybe i am sheltered, but that doesn't sound like any costume party i have ever been to. hell, if it was me in the costume, i would stick to a story more like: well we were playing truth or dare and i was drunk, i put on the costume as a joke and they posed next to me. has anyone ever heard of this whole "furry" fetish? |

I asked the salesman at FoD if this was the car from Houston. he said yes. I said I couldn't remember the owner's name and he didn't clue me in so just assuming it was his since FoD and FoH are both owned by Risi. |

as recent as three weeks ago?? maybe it wasn't sold, it is very plausible that foh moved the car to dallas for better luck in selling it. it is a great car aty a great price, i am surprised it has been available this long. i think most people are scared off by the fact that the car is well known at the track. |

don't ask me why, but i would love to see the picture of paul in the Tigger costume. maybe it would fit in nice with the never ending "ferrari bikini" thread. it was because of all the litigation that paul had to sell off his cars. i believe it was blown out of proportion. how could someone not realize that placing seitel logos all over ferrari challenge and other sports cars wasn't a company related expense. about the only thing the ferraris and seitel had in common was their need for gas and oil. |

Read these links. Sounds like this guy is in hot water. .......During 2001, Frame, then Seitel's CEO, deceived the company into paying $750,000 to resolve personal litigation brought by his former girlfriend; $179,000 to buy a Ferrari that he drove in a private racing club; and $256,000 in racing-related expenses. Frame intentionally misrepresented these expenses as company costs. Investors did not learn of these improper payments until after Frame resigned from the company. http://houston.bizjournals.com/houston/stories/2002/06/10/daily17.html http://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/lr18177.htm |

does anyone know more about the paul frame story lately? on one of the morning radio shows this morning, the topic of conversation was a certain local houston businessman that was being sued for tortuing a girl as part of a sexual fetish that he had. the fetish was based on the idea of becoming a "furry", or one who becomes aroused by pretending to be a furry animal (i didn't believe it either). the lawsuit is in regards to the girl being kept against her will, although she was given fur coats (go figure), during one of the "furry" play sessions. much to my surprise, paul frame, former ceo of seitel, was the named businessman. there was no mention of paul's involvement with ferraris but it peaked my interest none the less. as part of her suit, she supplied pictures of paul dressed up in a tigger outfit posing with women in their underwear. i was curious if anyone else knew anything else about this. the radio station was a clear channel station, and i find it hard to believe they would name a name if the story didn't have a least some merrit (with regards to the suit, not neccessarily the "furry" fetish". |
