Ron,

Congrats to you my friend.. Sounds like a fun ride.
Just remember, Don't open her up on the way home..get use to it first. Listen for noises and rattles.. things like that.. Become one with the car..
After your trip and you are confident on how the car holds up , RIDE THAT BABY !!!

Ron, congratulations...! We're all eagerly awaiting photos and a great story of driving your Ferrari home... Have a safe, fun trip and drive it like you stole it (but really pay for it...:-))

Crawford, just out of curiosity, can i ask why you switched from a Euro-spec'd car to a US one...?

I'm holding off on AAA until I talk to the insurance company tomorrow. I think they may offer something similar. If not, I'll get the AAA+.

It's an '85 GTS red/tan

Congrats on the purchase, but you need to think positive..."nothing will break, nothing will break, nothing will break".

Are you a member of AAA? May be a good way to prevent becoming a member of AA -

Sounds like you'll have a great ride. Post pics when you get back.

What are the specs? Color/ interior, year?

Just finalized the deal on 308. Going to fly out & drive it back. I'll be traveling the main routes through Montana, N. Dakota, Minnesota, down through Wisconsin to Chicago and on to Indy. Does anyone know of any good mechanics along the way? (Just in case)

Thanks,
Ron
