Look at the original thread regarding the tool box and look at the pic I posted, now that is a much better tool box no matter how you look at it. It's stronger, hold 4 times more tools, smooth rolling drawers that are weighted for smooth closure and the best of all for almost the same price as the Griots one. And you can even add the Ferrari logo who gives a **** if it's more expensive due to a logo, a nice logo on a lousy tool box for the money is a no-go. You can never have enough tools, the griots one would only hold some of the variety of screwdrivers I use and if I added more tools it would probably topple over when the drawers are open. If you don't have one you wouldn't know the difference. The tool box I had before the one I have now almost toppled over after pulling only 3 drawers out and it was better than the one being sold for 3g's on griots. I should start selling $400 tool boxes with logo's on it and mark it up a couple grand what a joke!... it pisses me off to see rip off deals but then again you can go make your call and find out for yourself the hard way.

For what you actually get it ain't worth the money. That emblem is costing you about $2,000.

I would like to get one but it is a little too high for me. It looks great though.

Edward, I've searched but can't find your post. Do you remember any of the details?

Thank you!

I originally posted about this tool set and I believe I found it cheaper than that. Do a search and see if I am correct.

Thanks Marcus, I think Griot's shipping was going to be another $260+/-. You've made it a little easier to justify. I also didn't realize there are only 200 for the USA. Guess I better hurry, before they're gone, or I come to my senses.

Initially I thought this $3,000 toolbox was the craziest thing I had ever seen, but somehow it is haunting me. I'm now actually considering buying one. After all, I could stand to freshen up my tools with the supercool set of metric FACOMs, and they are only making 1,400 so........

Have any of you seen or purchased? Is there a better way than Griot's? They do have some good stuff, but seem pretty spendy. Have I gone insane? Thanks for any advice.

(After Sunday's fiasco, I was less tempted, but only for a day or two, now its back)
