How much is it to have Pamela Anderson and Brittney Spears shipped though. I bet it's costly.

Love that thought process Arlie! Jim If you get the cover from germany you can have that shipped to a friend of mine before September 1 and he can bring it with him. If you want to wait till December 1 my parents can bring it with them. I can then ship it to you UPS Ground. Just a though! |

Hypothetical situation: Pamela Anderson and Britney Spears come knocking on your door; both of them wearing dresses made out of Wal-Mart car covers. You turn them away because presentation is everything?

Why not just go to Wal-Mart and buy one of their $59 "Barrier" car covers? They come in several sizes. A size number 3 fits my 1980 Corvette. The fabric is basically the same as Technalon which is a multi-layered breathable fabric that several companies use for car covers. I was at a local Wal-Mart Super Center and the "Barrier" cover was on sale for $39. It might be a close out price because they might be discontinuing that line of covers. |

Well, I just tried to buy a cover off of the Ferrari owners site. The cover was 210 Euros, and the shipping was 137 Euros! I'm not about to pay over $100 to have something shipped. Time for an alternative. |

Ok, it's not really my cars birthday, it's the anniversary of me owning it for the first year. On Aug 8 last year I flew to Salt Lake City to pick it up. The dealer came to pick me up in a 355F1, and drove me to see the car that I'd waited for for 25 years. That night, I started the drive home to Dallas. I'll never forget that trip. You haven't lived until you've driven your car through the Rockies. I think for our anniversary, I'll finally buy it that car cover I've been promising it. |
