Here is the link to the true owners of this car:

I do not believe that parts from the 92 TR will fit a 1986 Testarossa, not even the front clip.

I may be able to help the buyer of this car with some of the pieces necessary to repair it. I am parting out a '92 512TR that was hit left front.

Be careful with insurance vehicals, remember if you could make money or break even fixing them then someone would have surely done it before you get to bid on it

Thanks Eric, I just talked to a guy in MN who helped me find out about another car they were trying to sell as thiers. Turns out that car was sold long ago but autosource just had it recently listed at an auction on yahoo. Anyway thanks for the heads up...are you a dealer? I've been looking for a TR and like to track down all options including repairables.

Hi, I think I can help you out, so here it goes. Autosource has a pretty legit website of which you need to pay like 10 bucks to be a member. If your interested in finding repairable broken cars, the guy has a list of dealers who specialize in this. However, what it looks like this autosource guy does is advertise his website by listing cars that aren't his. I once saw a 355 on ebay.com which this guy set a really high reserve on so it ended up not selling, I actually found the people that were selling the car and it was sold quite a while back. But, he succeeded in making me fall into the autosource.com trap. I guess the service he provides is not bad, but I am just pissed that this guy puts up false advertising.
Next, the Testarossa, this car is not his and I actually know where its from, cause I'm considering buying it. It's up for auction by the people at Insurance Auto Auctions --> www.iaai.com or www.iaai-bid.com . If you use the auto locater you will find it. But, not everyone can buy these cars, you need to be a dealer. So there is that problem. I believe the car is being auctioned on April 11th. So hopefully this helps.

They are brokers that are trying to disguise themselves as dealers to get the phone call.

I see these people all over the place advertising cars that you supposedly can buy if you pay and join their site. I even tried to call them once and they have an answering machine message saying pay and join the site! Sounds like a load of crap to me. If you take what they want for their wrecked cars and add the cost of repairs it is at least as much as if you just go buy one that isn't wrecked!

I'm trying to find out about this car http://page.auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/auction/63454407?aucview=0x23
Apperently this company autosource steals pics off others web sites, tries to sell the car and if they do they then go to where the car actually is and buy it and re-sell it to thier buyer... doesn't sound right does it? Anyway just wondering if anyone knew anything so I could deal with the real seller, thanks Scott
