I talked to a guy at Italian Car Parts about the airbox and he wont just paint the logo back on. I really dont want someone elses refurb airbox and i definitely dont want to pay $240! I'll look into Craig's suggestion and try a T-shirt shop and let you know if it works.

Any 328s out there without the peeling black border around the windshield? Mine has it too... so does every one I've ever seen.

What in the world does "FWIW" stand for?

Excuse my ignorance if this is common Internet parlance.

FWIW, Here's what I would do....

I would make a silkscreen to screen print the logo on the airbox. It's relativly flat(except for the small rib on either side of the logo). Screenprinting is easy to do, high quality and cheap. If you don't feel up to it, take it to a T-Shirt shop and have it done. You should be able to get the artwork from a good photo taken of the airbox. I'm sure this is what others do.

Thanks Peter.

$240 to exchange my airbox top with a refurbished one with logo. Too steep. My top is otherwise perfect. I have a message to them on cost to send my top to them just to have logo put on. Any other thoughts?

Stu, tell me about it. I plan on refinishing my old 14" wheels and they have the correct Campagnolo decal set for them but want something like $26 each (so $104 to do all wheels). How can little decals cost so much?

I did though buy my manuals from them. When I was in England and visited Motor Books in London, they had repro manuals just like these ones and wanted similar prices (considering exchange).

Hi Peter - haven't ventured up North yet, but when I do I'm gonna come a knockin'...
I wanted the same logo on my airbox but couldn't get myself to pay what Italian Car Parts wanted! I instead bought their sticker kit (much less) and put the nice smaller shield sticker on my air box. I know, it boarders and being tacky, but it actually looks good and the yellow can be seen through the vents, which I think looks cool.
I have the same problem with my windshield, but have yet to find a solution.

Italian Car Parts in Oregon offers a service to restore air-boxes with the correct logo. Not cheap, but...

http://www.italiancarparts.com

I think its under "Lables & Plates".

Hi everybody!

1. How can I get the "Ferrari" logo painted back on my airbox?

2. Is there anything I can do to fix the peeling black border surround on the inside of my windshield?

Thanks in advance,
Dan
