Ghee I wonder why I get blamed for everything here ;-)

Good point Jim E. Also Rob, add a religion / political section please away from O/T to confuse people even more than they are now.

One universal truth of the internet and bulliten boards / chat rooms in particular is that they promote a herd mentality. Everyone goes where everyone else is.

Posts in the off topic forum wont get read as much and wont generate as much response as they would in the general area. This is a shame.

I prefer OT things in the main area and let folks police themselves as to what they read or participate in.... but its no tragic thing either way.

Hey Rob, you need to move the Plasma TV Sponsor thread to the Off-Topic section.

I know... not everyone will see it there. And its important.

Sorry, just couldn't resist. Just busting your chops.

I love your web-page,... And hope you and your sponsors make a nice profit.

Rob:

What happens when the Ferrari topic turns into something else? Like the license plate, etc.? I still think that Martin needs his own topic.

Wait, shouldn't this discussion be in off topic?

I agree with Rob. I think it's great that, in addition to being able to contact and share F-car related information with other Ferrari enthusiasts around the world, we also have the opportunity to share information and opinions on a variety of other topics. That said, there have been so many off topic discussions on the General Ferrari Discussion page lately that I think they have outgrown it and deserve a page of their own. It also keeps some less-inflamatory-yet-equally-important F-car related posts from being quickly pushed off the bottom of the page.

...but now you can post religious stuff and not get hammered for blocking Ferrari space:-)

It's not, just talk about them under "Off Topic". I'm not discouraging Off Topic conversations anymore, just giving them their own space.

I agree with mark... the great thing about this site is that we had multi-subject conversations regarding many topics, not just Ferrari related. When we go to a Ferrari meet or other event, we dont just talk about FERRARIS, we talk about many things in life. Otherwise it would be BORING. Why should it be any different here?

Great, now the main page will be as dull as a F-1 race ( wonder who will win ) Maybe Ferrari?

Yes I'm a big fan but it gets boring when you don't have to watch the race to guess the results.

Now I don't have to fear about seeing a topic on corvette or lambo on the F-page. Yipppy :-(

I don't get you guys that can't take a little varity? Thanks for dulling it down.
