Ya, they need a 360 Barchetta. I loved the look of that! As for the 575M, I have to agree with Ross. A convertable hardtop is what it needs. Not that ragtop that can't stay up at 70mph... |

they probably got tired of all the customers bringing them back in to get the leaks and creaks fixed. william, i agree with you; bring on a 575 w/ a cabrio like the sl500 and it would sell like crazy. the practicality of something like that is undeniable; combined w/ the ferrari prestige....perfect. |

I asked the same question from the dealer when I flew down to pick up my 348. His response was that Ferrari was never able to work the bugs out of the targa (leaks, squeaks, rigidity problems, etc.) and abandoned it completely. That, coupled with the lack of demand that Andrew mentioned, was their reason for the departure. Who knows whether what he told me was true or not (though he did sound like he knew what he was talking about). If that truly was the case however, I don't understand how Ferrari could have had so many problems with something so simple when other manufacturers (Vettes, Porsche, etc.) mastered it years ago....different priorities I guess. |

Because the demand for the 355 GTS wasnt that great , they considered it wasnt worth it. |

I think the 360 Spider with the top down is almost a targa, given the high b/c-pillars, rollbars, and headrests. Ernesto |

How come Ferrari never made a 360GTS. They have it in the 308/328/348/355. Is it because it might slow down the sales of Spiders? I found pics of how a 360 targa would look... |
