Jim,

NO, I did not buy this car. However, I am getting on the 360 replacement list from the same people this week.

I love this car, but it is a consignment car. They want $139,500 for this car and do not want to budge from this price. I have seen other 355 Spiders in the range of $90,000 to $100,000, maybe there are other good ones even lower. So I have problems justifying the price.

So I am looking for a fun Ferrari to use almost as a daily driver until the replacement becomes available probably in 3 to 6 years. When the replacement becomes available will keep the first Ferrari since it will be a well maintained, high milage Ferrari.

Because of the thread about brochures, I asked for a 360 Spider Brochure. Got it without hesitation even though it looked like they only had 2 copies of it.

What's wrong with living in a trailer park? Nobody seems to mind my 360 on blocks out front. Besides, gives the stray dogs a place to get put of the sun.

I think those wheels look terrible. From little I have seen, the stock wheels are hard to beat. Now I have seen 348s with 355 wheels and that looks really good!

Hugh,
Point taken! If I could live in a trailor park with those vehicles present, then I request a double-wide immediately! :-)

John,

If in fact the wheels are out of a trailer park; it's probably as 'posh' as they come.

The 360 looks like it has the barchetta wheels on it. They make them optional for both the 550 and the 360 for about a year now, maybe a little more. 355s are awesome, they're the best built and designed Ferrari ever, and I too like their exhaust note the most out of any newer Ferrari.

I love those wheels or maybe its the picture, but the back end seems to look slightly wider than normal. Much more agressive looking and I love that.

Is it me, or do those rims look straight out of the trailor park? Nothing wrong with aftermarker wheels. They just seem to detract from overall sleekness of the 355.

Dave:

Those are kinesis wheels, forget the namesake model code, but definatly not OEM. Good position to be in 348 v. TR v. 355; personally, I think the 355 sounds the best out of all three.

That's one sharp ride. ;) The 360 next to it isn't half bad either. Gotta love those cars. I saw a yellow F355 a few days ago. They still sound magical...

I do not normally like black cars, but I loved this one. I found the F1 on this car to be easier to use than the F1 on the Red 360 I tried. Are these wheels common? I thought they really looked sharp against the black.
